Actors and actress of various ages are required for low,
- medium or large budget feature length productions to be
- shot in the UK. We at, UK Film Productions can help you
- find those actors and actress for your film aslong as the requirement is provided to us prior to filming. You must
- very clearly specify the age, sex, origin and the role you are looking for them to act.
We have a list of British artists who can also speak Hindi or Punjabi and of course English for your film.
Casting the main artists from the UK will also add another
- point to your film if you are thinking of claiming subsidy
- or making your film as a British film within the point system.

A2 Principal characters British citizens or residents 1 point
1 point will be awarded if at least one of the three principal characters depicted in the film is a British character.
A character is a British character if he or she is a British
- citizen or a person resident in the UK. For the purposes
- of the test British includes any nationality of a country
- (English, Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish) which is now
- part of the UK. British character also includes any character
- who, at the time the film was set, was a British subject in the
- UKs colonial territories e.g. Mahatma Gandhi.
Where it is not immediately apparent from the film,
- applicants will be asked to explain why the character should
- be regarded as a British character.
The three principal characters will be determined by taking
- account of centrality and prominence of the character in
- the story. Applicants will be asked to identify the three
- principal characters and make the case for a characters
- centrality and prominence in the story.
